A Novel Localization Technology Based on DV-Hop for Future Internet of Things

In recent years, localization has become a hot issue in many applications of the Internet Things (IoT). The distance vector-hop (DV-Hop) algorithm is accepted for fields due to its uncomplicated, low-budget, and common hardware, but it disadvantage low positioning accuracy. To solve this issue, an improved DV-Hop algorithm—TWGDV-Hop—is put forward article. Firstly, position broadcast by using three communication radii, hop subdivided, difference correction coefficient introduced correct hops between nodes make them more accurate. Then, strategy square error fitness function spent calculating average per (ADPH), weighting factor added jointly modify ADPH Finally, good point set Levy flight both are into gray wolf (GWO) enhance ergodic property capacity unfettering local optimum it. GWO used evolve place each node be located, further improving location accuracy located. results simulation known that presented 51.5%, 40.35%, 66.8% compared original square, X-shaped, O-shaped random distribution environments, respectively, with time complexity somewhat increased.
